Today I visited the Plymouth Citybus HQ and met with CEO Richard Stevens. I was pleased to discuss a number of issues which regularly appear in my inbox and come up when talking to people on the doorstep, including service availability, smart use of city data and keeping passengers and drivers safe.
Buses often don't get enough attention at national level and I was pleased when Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn raised this recently at Prime Minister's Questions. Bus connectivity is critical for so many people in our city - for getting to work, for visiting family, and for getting to key places such as the Doctors or the bank. If you have views on what would improve bus provision in the city, I want to hear them!
