It is the honour of my life so far to be selected as Labour’s candidate in Plymouth Moor View. The hard work to reclaim this seat for Labour starts now.
This Tory Government has overseen the biggest cuts to our public services in a generation. Too many people and too many places in our city are being left behind. The NHS and social care is in crisis, our schools are struggling and cuts to police budgets are putting our safety at risk.
It’s time for the people of Plymouth Moor View to have a representative that will put them first, with a positive and ambitious vision for the future of the constituency. I will work tirelessly between now and the next General Election to let the people of Plymouth Moor View know that the next General Election will be a choice between a Labour Party that will stand up them or a Conservative Party that only looks after the privileged few.
I want to pay testament to the two fantastic other candidates Philippa Davey and Pam Buchan. Two brilliant women who give so much to the Labour Party. Their passion, activism and commitment make them class acts.
