From Plymouth, Fighting For Plymouth

I was born at Freedom Fields Hospital, grew up in St Judes, and live in Crownhill. I benefitted from Labour investment in Plymouth schools, which helped me go on to university. I have experience working for national policy and research organisations, including the Work Foundation and in the tech sector, focusing on how to best create jobs and support UK industry.

At the core of my values is the simple idea that compassionate Labour policies can immeasurably improve a person’s life chances, as they did mine. In our changing economy and difficult times, people need to be properly supported, not left behind.

I want to use my energy, knowledge and experience to fight for a better future for my home city.
