From Plymouth, Fighting For Plymouth
Charlotte Holloway is a proud Plymothian with experience on the national stage, and she is standing to be our next MP in Plymouth Moor View.
Charlotte was a Freedom Fields baby, born in Plymouth. She went to Plymouth schools and lives here in Crownhill. She is a mother to one daughter, born last year at Derriford Hospital, and works in the city. What happens here matters to her, just like it matters to you.
Charlotte’s professional experience has spanned working for business, on the economy and public policy research. She has worked in the technology sector nationally, helping high-tech businesses create secure, well-paid jobs and grow the British economy. She has also advised leaders such as the Mayor of London. Charlotte is someone who knows how to get a lot of things done.
Charlotte says “I’m standing to be our MP because I want children today to have the same opportunities that I had. Too many people in Plymouth are being left behind. Too many people feel ignored. That has to change.
“Our communities, our city, our children deserve an MP who is proud to live here, who pays taxes here, and who knows what decision taken in London will really mean for Plymouth. I will be that MP. Unlike our current Conservative MP, I am proud to live here alongside my friends and neighbours, alongside the people I want to represent in Parliament.
“This city made me who I am. In a changing and uncertain world, I’ll use my experience and my passion for Plymouth to make a real difference. I won’t let Plymouth get left behind.”
